I've been looking for floating plants to buy. I don't really think I want duckweed because of how hard it can be to get rid of but I've been looking for a place to get salvinia minima but I haven't had any luck finding any. Any idea on where to get them or any other floating plants that are very similar

Ok, first off, im a newbie to the planted aquarium scene, so im still trying to wrap my head around everything. I have done research after research. My tank is a 29gal tank, gravel substrate, i have a fluval 206 canister filter and an aqueon 50 hob for filtration. I have low light (its the original hood that came with the tank). The plants I have are wisteria, amazon sword, brazilian pennywort. I had corkscrew val and it just melted away. the wisteria is like melting away. the swords…

I dose with root tabs, flourish, and iron. I am seriously thinking about changing to a dirt substrate with sand and gravel cap. Im also gonna switch lighting to t5ho with a total wattage of 62watts. My question is why all the melting? They have been in the tank for about 2 weeks. My ph is 7.2, everything else 0. no fish yet. no co2 or excel but im thinking about doing diy co2. Im trying to think of everything and its blowing my mind cuz they are like dying in front of my eyes.
Black watertag:fishtanktv.com,2015-03-13:6423219:Topic:8909772015-03-13T00:16:56.514ZChristopher McMullenhttp://fishtanktv.com/profile/ChristopherMcMullen

Hey all this is my first post. I picked up a 50-55 gallon flat back hex tank. I have done a lot of work to it. I am now ready for aquaplaning planting and fish. I want to do something like a natural habitat for some angelfish I have which means black water. I would like advise on the kinds of plants that would be good in this type of tank

Hi guys, I've been noticing that the new growth on my crypt is brown and I'm not sure what to make of it. Could anyone tell me if I'm lacking any specific nutrients or if simply these are the new leaves adapting to my tank?…

Hey, have lots of plants in my tank which have all and still are going great but got bunch of Java fern about a month ago which had recently started to get brown and die quickly, a piece that I attached to drift wood is completely dead but has small growth, the main plant however is slowly dying and shows no sign of growths thanks ,,,, ALSO MY Tank gets full direct sunlight throughout the day as it's sources of light and no ferts or co2 are used

i need help brainstorming what could be going on. i have an iron slash carbon supplement that i put once a week except for the two weeks that i was trying to get rid of the hydras. i just bought that special clay that you mix with the substrate for the plants and i wanted to get more info if i should completely redo my tank or just add the clay with maybe a 75%water change. like i said i need help brainstorming i tryed to ask the peeps at the shop i was at (fountainsaqauriums.com) and i felt intimidated by these experts. i dont think i got my question out as i wanted to plus i get anxious easily. so help if you can homies mybe let me in on insider tips or whatever i would greatly appreciate it :)
dwarf sag trimming/ propogationtag:fishtanktv.com,2014-03-28:6423219:Topic:8560072014-03-28T23:12:40.085Zricky deherrerahttp://fishtanktv.com/profile/rickydeherrera
