I have been wanting to do a saltwater tank and I am just wondering if the fact that I have a well is going to stop me from being able to. I do have a water treatment system and softener. The system is from Rainsoft. I have a 175 gallon bowfront that I was hoping to set up eventually. Any ideas on if it will be alright?

So for my new 20 gallon saltwater tank, I'm using a 50 gallon hang on the back filter, and I really need to increase my water flow, but I was wondering what kind of a wavemaker do I need? How many GPH would you suggest? I've been looking at several, and all I need to decide is how much flow I need. I figure I should just get one with a huge flow and then I could just lower it. Please let me know what you think. Any advice from past experience is much appreciated. Thanks. (:

Hello I have a 7 month only set up, 90 gallon semi reef with a bubble tip anemone, mushrooms, and some misc. corals. All my livestock are listed in the video below, none have ever touched a coral (except the clowns) and I am going to get some better lights, maybe LED's. I would like some more beginner corals such as green star polyp, more Zoanthids, frogspawn and more anemones
So what other coral are their that are green blue or yellow
No idea if that's a good price or not, salt stuff always seems pricey especially with some of the prices of coral that I saw. Had it for a couple days now and so far seems to be doing alright, the tentacles open up when the lights come on and closes down when the lights go off. I need to find out what this is so I can figure out what to do about its care. Right now it's under the old 6700K fluorescent daylight. I ordered a 60watt LED marine fixture (10,000k, Actinic 460nm) which should be arriving sometime this week and should be roughly 3 times the amount of light I currently have for the tank and the correct marine color temperature.
Reef or no reef.....tag:fishtanktv.com,2012-07-16:6423219:Topic:1783182012-07-16T16:59:41.683ZMeagan Wyers, Blaine's BFFhttp://fishtanktv.com/profile/MeaganWyers
