<p>So I've had a 29 gallon, tropical community aquarium for a while now and I just recently got a new cheap aquarium from some neighbor. It's 50 gallons but has a very strange shape. It's sort of a tall, hexagon, corner tank. I really wanted to try some cichlids or salt water but I don't think I'm ready for salt. But I've heard that cichlids like long tanks, not tall. Any advice would be great. Thanks </p>

Yo, FTTV folks.<br />
<br />
I want to make this the ultimate jungle! I run co2, I have four compact fluorescents blue/whites(just watched one of Dustin's vids I think he said stay away from those?)<br />
<br />
The bulbs have four prongs... I have co2 diffuser at both ends of tank with power head above them to spead the co2.<br />
<br />
I want to dirt this tank to get a "Jungle", yeah!<br />
<br />
Any tips, advice would be sweet!<br />
<br />
Thanks. Peace

Ok, so most people say that having plants in a Mbuna tank cant be done because the Mbuna are herbavores and they uproot plants. I was looking online reading an article and noticed that it said java fern can be kept in a Mbuna tank because java fern tastes bitter so the fish dont like to eat it. Im thinking about trying it out. What do you think? What would you do? I appreciate everyones opinions :)

So I have a 55 gallon fresh water fish tank that I want to fill with Cichlids. Which ones should I use and how many? Also, do I need to install an air pump for the tank to make bubbles? Is it necessary? Please help, thanks :)

<p>Ok so the fish I'm talking about is the blue one in the back. Before comments are made I know that this isn't the best combination of fish to be together in a tank but please understand that this is a temporary tank until the end of winter.</p>
