So I've had a 29 gallon, tropical community aquarium for a while now and I just recently got a new cheap aquarium from some neighbor.  It's 50 gallons but has a very strange shape.  It's sort of a tall, hexagon, corner tank.  I really wanted to try some cichlids or salt water but I don't think I'm ready for salt.  But I've heard that cichlids like long tanks, not tall.  Any advice would be great.  Thanks

well. you could do cichlids...if you provided measurements.

however Angel fish and guppies love higher tanks. cories dont.

however taller tanks with less top space need a bubbler because f lack of surface space if you want to keep all 50 gallons worth of fish otherwise do 30 gallons worth,

do some good filter ration on it you want circulation through out whole tank,
