Tank is doing well plants are growing fish are healthy..
My new project is to completely break down and remove all the fish, plants, hardscape and gravel from my 55g.
After removing everything, I had one casualty, one of the checkerboard Cichlids didn't make it )-:
I will be replacing the substrate with a base 1" of Miracle Grow Organic soil (Which was soaked in a vat for 1 week), covered with a thin layer of SafeTsorb, followed by a layer of CarbiSea FloraMax, and I'll be fixing the front and side views so all you can see is the FloraMax.
After adding about 1"-1.5" of FloraMax, I will cap it all off with 1" of Black Diamond blasting sand, I did this all in one evening, this took me around 4 hours..
