Just purchased an Odyssea T5 HO Deluxe 36" (6500K)

Posted on March 6, 2013 at 6:58am 13 Comments

I just purchased what I linked below

Odyssea 36" T5 HO Deluxe

Based on my calculation Ill be between 25 to 33 L/in^2  which is high to very high light range.

The reason for the large range in the luminosity is due to me not knowing the characteristics of the reflectors.  I do know that they're not parabolic, or V shaped.  They're simply bulbs in a…

http://www.ajmreefled.com/#!products/cngp

I've finally found a decently priced cree led fixture that is strong enough for planted tanks AND reef tanks.  I cant wait to buy the Cree 120 watt.  Also since i know which bin they are using on this fixture i could buy the LEDs myself and replace as needed (although cree leds last quite a long time)

Happy buying

ps if you buy one do a review…

The LED in the week one picture is from marine land. I actually switched that led light out for a dual 36 inch t5 setup. Wasn't getting enough growth from the LEDs.

Find your name? why? I didn't find your name on your profile, but I found some spelling errors! lol ;)   (Is it gay to put a winking face on a dudes profile? I'm just trying to convey that I'm just messing around about the spelling errors.)

Hey Dave...

Greg from Korea here, sorry for uploading those videos so late.  I got em on my page now.  I added comments to some where I have doubts.

If you could take a look some time, mostly the brown algae situation and my betta.  Here's the link.
