<p>If you're using gravel u might need to add ferts. And make sure your leds are providing 10 lumens per square inch of tank surface area and a 6500K (approx) color spectrum. A cheap hardware shoplight will give you the same results as an expensive set of leds. Sunlight is best if you can provide it.</p>
