Hi LEDPreponderantDude (coo screen name btw). Thanks for the kind words. It was actually relatively inexpensive. I'd say there is less than $200 in materials in it, all told. The biggest single expense was the liner ($70-$80). There are really only 3 other materials, (12) 4" x 4" pressure treated lumber which makes up the sides, the (2) 2" x 6" cap and the (12-14) 1/2" x 5' rebar "pins" that hold it all together. There are no screws, bolts, or any other permemant hardware. Instead, I carefully laid the first course, then hammered in the 5' rebar pins in about 2 ft., leaving approximately 3' above ground. I then lid the pre cut and drilled lumber over the top of the pins and built up the pond layer by layer. After the final course was laid, I hammered in the remainder of the rebar pins until they were flush with the top of the pond. I then, laid down some scrap carpet on the ground and installed the liner and capped the whole thing off with the 2" x 6". The pump is just a cheap little 260 GPH  foutain/pond pump I found at Harbor Freight for about $10. That's really about it. There are currently 13 goldfish that seem to be fat and happy. (1 koi,1 red cap Oranda, several fantails, and several comets). I still need to get some plants, but I put the pond together late int the year and by the time I tried to find some, they were all sold out at the local stores. Thanks again for the kind words.

You're welcome. if you can make a DIY How to that would awesome. Step by step if possible.  you can make it in the Pond Section of our forum.  I will feature it on the forum page and let people know about it. BTW if you have pictures of your step by step that would be even better =)  If not its perfectly fine =)

Once again very good build and hope to see more of your work in the near future =)
