Yes, I'm running pressurised Co2 and started EI dosing on Wednesday.

No, I have the trio with digital timer. They didn't make the quad at the time I got mine. Quad is overkill on a 55g freshwater. I may drop mine down to two bulbs, depends on what the algae decides to do in the next month or so.

Nice i just ordered the dual for my 55g , it should be a nice upgrade from the two t8s i have in it now.

Yeah I used to have the two 15w t8s. These lights can bring on algae like no other when compared to low light. Started with the light upgrade, then more plants, then dirt, then Co2, then now EI dosing.

5. I had six but one died from unknown causes. 4 is fine, when they get bigger you may get a mating pair which will cause aggressiveness. Out of the 5 I have two mating pair and one that's a swinger lol.

Thats what happened im my aquarium nasty algae sticky to everything. Would i have tear apart my whole aquarium to dirt it? That seems like a big hassle

Yeah but only took about 3 hours or so. I don't honestly think it was worth it lol... I'm hoping the EI dosing and Co2 can do what the dirt could not, help balance out my aquarium and keep the algae at bay.
