Recently upgraded from a 10 to a 20 gallon fish tank. Im unsure of how many fish I can put in there. I know theres the 1 inch per gallon rule of thumb but I'd thought I'd ask people who know. Its been awhile since I've boughten fish so right now I only have 3.

Current fish:
2 Cory cats
1 red tetra of some sort(forget what its called exactly)

Adding:
1 Mystery Snail
4 or 5 red tetras(same type I already have)
5 zebra danios

Is this too many fish, not enough of certain kinds or could I add more?

The density of fish per unit of space is a function of the amount of dissolved oxygen available. For static testing, the EPA and C.A. Fish and Game recommend 1 gm of fish per liter for vessels containing no supplemental aeration.

of course..add more man!

grab a group of 5 cory of group them and get more red tetras too.

tetras don't produce much waste..

You still got alot of room left to play around with

Alright thanks for the answers guys. I'm going to the fish store this weekend. I'm going to get 2 more cory cats. Then could I still add say 5 cardinal tetras?
hmm won't let me edit for some reason. I noticed the jumbo neon tetras look similar but are an inch smaller then the cardinal tetras, would the neons be a better choice since they are smaller?
i would go with neons. from what i have hard, cardinals are hard to keep them alive....

either or will be fine...some prefer cardinal while some like neon.

its basically your choices
