Hello everyone,

I have a 5 gallon tank with plain gravel ( wanted to dirt... but couldn't find it anywhere), no heater, and decent lighting. Do you guys think Anubias and Java Moss could survive ( hopefully thrive)?

Thanks!

Yes

Yeah it should work if you dose it with liquid fertilizer, plants need nutrients too. And how could you not find dirt? You can find any organic dirt at home depot or lowes. Dirt is "dirt cheap" if you pick the right type.

defiantly, I don't think liquid fertilizers are necessary if you have fish or invertebrates for those plants, but could be the difference between survive and thrive.
