55g filter help

I want to make a 55g black water tank and i love hob filters. I herd aquaclears are good filters and want to try one. so should i us 2 ac 50g's  or 2 ac 70g's...... also if you have any other filter ideas or products plzz post.

On my 55 I run two whisper ex70's HOB works great

I also have the rena canister filter and it works great.
