I am discovering that I am not good at recording updates. My 55 gallon tank has been set up for 75 days. I have added a few more plants and a few more fish. Lost a couple mollies, not sure whats up with that. All water parameters seem ok except that the water is just regionally hard water and a little high alkaline. I love the black diamond substrate. Its easy to clean and doesn't really displace as easily as I anticipated. I am over run with snails, and even though most enthusiasts view them as pests, I appreciate their contribution to the tank. I relocate at least 20 a week, but there are always more the next week. Considering a second tank. Possibly tetras may begin cycling this weekend.
