What does the algea look like? Do you do alot of water changes? Also is your water supply high in Phosphates?

do more water changes to remove excess nutrients in your water column. have your lights on for less time. I've read 8-10 hours is best. figure out what kind of algae it is and get an algae eater that will eat that specific kind....plenty of options
