okay so I have a large mixed aggressive tank with a couple cichlids and some other larger semi aggressive to aggressive fish. I have one Aurutus cichlid in there that I just discovered today has a mouth full of eggs. Do they do this regardless of whether they have a mate or could it possibly cross breed with the jewel cichlid? I am curious if anyone has experience with these little guys. She has gotten very aggressive lately and I am sure this is why. Suggestions, thoughts, ideas, and anything thing of the such...

Beats the heck out of me.  Fascinating scenario though.  I once had a male Betta that bred with a female Paradise fish. They laid eggs in the back of my 180 among a thicket of bog plants. I never got to see if they hatched though. Maybe because I disrupted the nest with an ill-timed water change.
