Beginner with CO2 in my tank

I have just set up a little 20 gal dirted planted tank. I would like for this tank to flourish but what little I know about planted tanks is that in order for the plants to flourish they will need a steady source of CO2. I have seen some videos on YouTube for some DIY CO2 mixtures and set ups but would like further info before I do anything to upset either my fish or plants.

20 gal tank:
6 assorted platys
1 peppered Cory cat
1 large and 2 small amazon swords
Some dwarf sag
And some other plants that I don't really know the names to

Any help would be appreciated

with the plants u have u dont need co2

just get flourish excel and flourish comprehensive plant supplement
