also been looking at the AquaticLife T5 2-Lamp
you might wanna try and look into this lighting system, here the links:

I bought a fixture similar to this one http://www.aquatraders.com/48-inch-4x54W-T5-Aquarium-Light-Fixture-... .  Mine came with much sturdier legs and a built in timer, for each row of lights.  Many people put up red flags with Odyssea, but I have had no issues.  They say the are fire hazards, but from what I have read those were the old models.  These are 4 bulbs, for half the price of my 2 bulbs units, with moonlight led and a timer!

p.s. the legs that came with mine also make glass lids unusable.

oops i didn't realize that aduman suggested the same light.

so with the odyssea i can or can not use glass tops?
Ya aquatraders is pretty sick. i bought a light off there and love it

you can hang the zoo med if it saves you enough money

yeah man it cheap and very good lighting for all your plants and fishes. plus it has LED Moon light what great about these set is that it very cheap, comes with two power cord to set up for day and night light, and parts can be easily replace.

With legs you want to remove than twit with them it a little bit to get the right adjustment for your tank needs.

@Zack: It okay lol

okay i orderd them today! thanks to you and zack for the good ligting tip! ill put out a video of it on my tank when i get it!

hey im looking for new lighting on my 60g planted tank and woundered how it turned out for you? any problems with shipping from that site?

actually it went very well! nothing wrong with shipping, i own 2 know and they have been fine! no problems at all other than they don't fit perfect on thanks. there always a bit to long

At Home Depot i saw these mmm maybe 14 inch grow lights with 4 bulbs (t5 I think) for $50. They have been on my mind some and I was thinking that that might be pretty sweet.
