If u have high light its not low tech. High light pretty much grows n e plant. depending on ur plants pretty sure ur gonna need co2 to beat algae. If u ment easy plants to care for do mosses, anubias, swords, dwarf sag. Basically n e thing minus red plants. Their are some red plants that are easy to care for like red lotus and ludwigia

Floating Water Sprite is super easy and will filter out some of the light. Anacharis, Cabomba, Hornwart, are all beautiful easy to grow. Floating plants will also prevent algae from taking hold.
