hey guys. Ive had a small problem with bluegreen alge for a while now. the tank is pretty healthy and the fish are constantly breeding, but one corner in my tank gets bluegreen alge all over it, no matter what i do.

any ideas, sugestions or links that coud be helpful would be awesome, cheers!

Blue-green-algae, or Red Slime Algae is Cyanobacteria.  It manifests itself in a few forms/colours.

In FW tanks, it thrives in well-lit anaerobic areas with low nitrate content. In planted tanks this is accentuated because the plants uptake Nitrate.

Tell us much more about your tank so you can get a better suggestion how to treat it. There are medicines for it, or plant ferts (nitrates) to be added to quickly solve it.
