i Have tried to breed mollies befor with no luck what are some  hints and tips and the way people have sucesfully had fry i have a 3 ft fish tank with mollies and swordtails and a 2 foot fry tank with no babie Yet

keep more female ratio to male than your be swarm with babies..molly pretty much breed like crazy...

 

they do eat their fry so you must separate the fry from the parents

     Mollies prefer hard water with a high ph. most people keep them in less than favorable conditions. I use a product called Seachem Brackish salt.

     It allows you to provide favorable conditions for livebearers and it does not burn your plants like regular sodium chloride would. I use Hornwart and Guppy grass in my tanks and the fry have lots of hiding places. Let me know if you have any other questions.
