Can i grow plants with this?
Hi, i have a 36 gallon tank with a T8,17watt,8,000k, full spectrum daylight bulb. I was wondering if i could grow low light plants like anubias,java fern,amazon swords,and anachris in there if i used root tabs and dosed with fertilizer a couple times a week.

sure. When you replace the bulb, I would put a 6700K bulb in there.

I have that same tank, if it is by aqueon, and I have swords, sag, val and even a red tiger lotus looking amazing, just make sure good ferts and good substrate, i dont even dose co2 but its looking great!
