well personally heres what i would do, go to your local store such as lowes or walmart, pick up CFL spiral bulbs that are atleast 23 watts, a three pack is about 15$ then go find their clip on chrome shop lights which at about 8$ a piece.. comes out to about 40$ which is cheap and grows plants better thank most other lights. Just plug it into the gravel, since you have root tabs already you should have enough fertalizer, if you want you can add the liquid fert and co2 booster and it will grow like a weed. In my 45 tall i started out doing ok. spend over 450$ on a light system, and my plants didn't grow that great. Switched over to the cheap CFL bulbs and not my tank is over run with plants. So by spending less money you get more growth in the end.
Check these out this will help you a lot:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW3ptUu4Mu0 - this one has a section about cfl but also other lights.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX4tsJgXeHs - here is another video i found that was ok also.
Also don't listen to the people that say, "ohhh you have to use co2", it is a load of bullshit. Plants need co2 yes and enough of it is produced naturally in your tank. Too much co2 can harm your tank in a way that you can screw up all you plants. If you can control it right that cool but it's not reasonable for a low set up tank, i don't give a shit what anyone says. There are plenty of credible sources out there that would agree with me on this one so just thought i would let you know so you can save your money.
