What's up Fishtanktv? I was wondering how do i get the cloudiness out of the water after i add the dirt and everything because it's really starting to bug me and I have plants coming in soon.

Thanks,

It will settle out and slowly come out after water changes.  If you do a 80% water change assuming you have no fish.   It should improve it greatly.

This is normal and it will clear up.  Dustin did back to back 80% water changes on his upstairs tank.  Look for his video on the rescaping with Anubias and drift wood.  Within the last 2 months.

Yeah do about 75-80% water change and you will actually see the water be even clearer for some reason. But patience is the key.
run it filter at max and carbon
+1 for 80% Water change and +1 for Heavy filter and carbon

what are you refering to when you say carbon? (sorry I am a noob)

What type of filter do you have?  I would remove the carbon after 4 to 6 weeks and your tank has cycled.  It IS good to use on a new tank but it isn't good to use it long term with a live planted tank.

The carbon will Fe (Iron) and other minerals out of your water that will benefit the plants.

Hang in there and be patient.  It will clear up and get better.  ;-)
