Everything I have read about them said no. I have some and they are too little to be a problem for my other bigger fish but in that tank they never got enough food because the other fish ate it all before they got it. So I put them in a 10 gallon with a betta and 4 gold tetras; after a month everything is going good. I do see the Betta displaying to the loaches, they in turn just look at him and do nothing.

they shouldnt but can and do and grow over 13inches.. whoooa

yea they should be fine i have seen videos on youtube of them in with angelfish and betas or neon tetras and did not see any aggresion just peacfull happy fish. So i think your all set.

very fun fish to watch but you should have no problem with them other then them getting really big.

Only time I've seen mine be aggressive is when they are eating. They kinda nip at the other fish that are waiting on pieces to float up. But it's not bad, I'll try to catch it on video one day.
