Converting An Angelfish Tank

I have been looking into this method for a while. It seems the most do-able, however, I do not have the space, nor the time, to wait for everything to rebound. The tank is essentially fully stocked, and we've nowhere to move the fish during this whole process. Obviously, they cannot spend weeks in 5 gallon buckets while the tank gets into it's groove. Is there any way to add, for example, the Tetra Safe Start? Or any other nitrifying bacteria like API Quick Start?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
