cracked plastic frame

Hey ya'll,

I just picked up a 75 gallon used aquarium. Got it home and noticed a partial crack in the bottom trim at one of the corners. I looked it over before handing over the cash, so it may have happened when we carried it into the house. I don't know. Otherwise the thing looks great. 

I'm wondering if I should put some super glue in the crack or jb weld to prevent it from spreading further. Anybody ever filled an aquarium with any kind of crack in the plastic frame?

if u have a glass tank under 50 gal the plastic framework is merely cosmetic u can do what u wish with it mine was cracked too so i just took it off and wrapped it with plastic laminate.
