looking for some help!!! i HAD 3 pairs of dwarf gourami in my 38gal planted tank with tetras, snails ghost fish etc. Problem is they are gradually dying on me. The first sign is they stop eating, then they stay on the own near the surface plants i have, then the following day they will be laying on the bottom on there side, and the next day gone. Everything else is fine and doing well, all my water tests are fine for nitrite, ammonia. pH is a little high at 7.6 but that is the norm for my area. can anyone give me some info to stop these dying?

No! Just have a external ehiem 2217 and a  internal power head with filter and a air pump with 2 stones.

is your tank cycle?

you mention in your pic that it was running for a month then you add large amount of fish suddenly.

was there fish to to begin with?

tanks is cycled alright been going for about 3 months, i've been adding fish about once a week after the 2 month, but very small amounts like 2 at a time or maybe 5 tetra.
your gourami's have dwarf gourami disease. It will only affect the gourami's but what it is is a disease that they contract from the breeding grounds in asia. with the colors and demands of the fish they are breed heavily and don't have the best of conditions to live in. It only takes one fish to be a carrier and never show signs of it then once introduced to other fish they die and inturn allow the carried virus to mutate inside of them infecting the initial carrier and killing them. its a really big disease with them. one in 3 fish at the petstore will have the disease. some will do better then others like flame gourami's will be better at it dwarfs are the worst followed by powder blue. the best is the pink or kissing gourami. until the demand for them goes down and the breeding conditions get better they really arent worth the trouble to get.
thanks for that jeremy that sounds about right, and would explain alot, have one female left and this morning she is lerking in the corner and did not eat. i think i my just give up on them and try something else. thanks again
