Hey guys. I love dirt so much that I am converting another tank(10 gallon half moon) to dirt. I recently did a 3.5 that is almost 2 months old and is doing great. Here is my question. I reall wanted to do a black cap for this next convert but I couldn't find anything nice other than crappy shiny gravel that u get in pet stores.  I really wanted something that looked natural  and was the right size 1-3mm Anyway, after researchig like mad I narrowed it down to Eco- complete and was able to get a deal on a 20lb bag. Here is my problem. I read in a few places that Eco complete can raise your ph due to the calcium and magnesium in it. So should I just skip the crushed coral then? Dustin puts it in his tank but I know he uses inert gravel cap. I feel like if I put the crushed coral my water would be too hard. It's already pretty neutral. Lemme knoww! Thanks for your help.
