I've been running a dirted tank for 4 months now, the plants are great, no algae whatsoever. But I noticed that the line where the soil meets the gravel has this milkly white film there. Also some air bubbles look like they have a bit of white mould growing in it

Will this go away? does this pose any threat to my tank? Can/should I do anything to fix it?

Ive had a bit of white mould on top of the gravel before which i syphoned away and hasnt shown up since.

Any suggestions, comments greatly appreciated.

it can go away, and from what ive seen might pose a threat to your tank.  if it hasnt spread then you're fine.  I've used H2O2 to fix that problem

it looks like it's slowly going away now. some people ive talked to say its just the dirt breaking down a bit and isn't dangerous to the tank.

Thanks for the input.
