So I purchased 5 discus a few weeks ago, they were doing fine...

However, with in the past week, their color has turned black (they are turquoise) and they began leaning at the top of the tank.  Their eyes also became dark, you could see their slime coating was building up, some of them it appeared grayish.  I did a water change again on Saturday and took water to my LFS to have them check it....

pH was 6.5, nitrates were low, alkalinity was off (which could be causing me pH issues), also began warming my tank as it was in the high 70s, now I have it 82F.

I also purchased blood worms and black worms.  They quickly began eating the blood worms.  After a couple of days 4 of them were moving around, the 5th was still hanging at the top.  Last night however, I checked on them and 2 were swimming (still black), one was on it's side at the bottom, another was stuck to my filter and the 5th was at the top.  I netted all of them out of my tank and set up a small 10 gal w/ a bubbler and water from my tank (I did not want to just put them tap water).  Got up this morning and they were all alive still, I did a 75% water change w/ water from the tank again.  4 of the 5 were hanging out on the bottom, the 5th one was all over the place swimming around (however, he was having issues maintaining balance).

If they are still kicking when I get home, I will purchase a small heater and filter for the tank.  But I'm unsure of what to do next.  Color has returned to 3 of the 5 eyes, but they still appear to be dark in color.
