Dustin uses lights from home depot?

My 2 light bulb strip (48 in) just died, it doesn't turn on anymore even when i twist the lights. It was about 8 years old, not sure if i ruined it when I just left it above the tank without a cover and the water evaporated and corroded something.

I have a dirted tank Dustin style but without the iron/clay add ons. I have jungle val, dwarf hair grass, java fern, java moss, sag, and some mystery plant.

What kind of lights and light strip do I need? Just buy a workers light strip at home depot and use their bulbs also? I'm not trying to spend lots of unnecessary money on cool looking lights. Just want something that will grow plants well.

I already have two new flora-glo 48 inch bulbs.

I want my tank to be a jungle with the jungle val and a nice carpet with the dwarf hair grass.

I don't have any CO2, if i run that will the plants grow faster?

And yes co2 makes plants grow faster.

yup you can buy a light fixture from home depot and if your going to buy bulbs their ,look for high output of 6500k and you can use it with your flora ones. For co2 if your plant are already growing then yes you can run co2 to help their growth
