Ferts with Dirt

How long will the nutrients supply from dirt last in the long run ?I have moderate fish load.Will the fish waste keep the nutrients up for ever ? All I have been adding is Leaf Zone fert that I got at the Petsmart .Everything is looking great .I just want it to stay that way.

not necessary until 2-3 years down the road....plus the waste will just keep feeding them so it won't be needed
