Hey all, have been watching Dustin's videos for a while now and finally decided to sign up here.
Basically I have a flame tetra with pop eye in both eyes and I'm pretty sure it's down to an anaerobic substrate. The eyes aren't cloudy and my water quality is good. Am 0 Ni 0 Na 10. I get a hell of a lot of bubbles when I poke around in the substrate but it doesn't smell bad. Is it my soil releasing nitrogen or perhaps too much co2?
Tank has been set up for 3/4 months and this is the first problem I've had, apart from accidentally purchasing a fish with swim bladder issues and another with one eye.
Figured this was the best place to ask with all you soil freaks! :)
