Between the two of those I'd go with flourite.  Floramax is a bit light and plants get uprooted easily.  Floramax isn't bad choice though, I have a section of my planted tank growing in that capped with gravel.  Don't see a difference compared to the flourite, I can take a pic of it and let you compare.

I think ima goa with flourite because it latsts like 3 years and flora is one , but some people say they are the same so im confused

Good choice.  Flourite is capable of absorbing extra nutrients from the water column and is supposed to last a lifetime.  It also contains little bits of metal that are supposed to gradually dissolve to give your plants iron over time. So magnetic tank cleaners should be avoided when using flourite. I believe floramax is capable of doing the same thing but I'm not sure.  For both brands you might have to recharge every now and then with root tabs if your plants are soaking up nutrients quickly, but this happens in all forms of gardening.

Flourite is the more popular brand.  Most of the people at my lfs use flourite or ecocomplete.  Floramax is similar to ecocomplete but not as dense.  It's very light.  There's also ADA which is almost twice the price, but I recently sampled it and I can't knock the results. Haha I know it's confusing I went through the same thing, that's why I've tried so many different brands. I'm pretty happy with the results I got from flourite, but do wash it out before putting in your tank, it's very messy.
