Healthy substrate for plants and coolie loaches?

I want to have coolie loaches (I am planning on buying a 30 gallon tank). I have kept dirt aquariums, but I don't want the coolie loaches to stir it all up :P And I do not want to use liquid fertilizers, and I have used sand before but the plants don't seem to like it that much.

kulie loach love a sandy bottom ..

the only product that is safe for plants and loach would be flourite.

And ofc, tahitian moon black sand..if it was me..I wouild def go with flourite.
