I have a pair of apistogramma cacatuoides in my 30 gallon tank and the female is showing interest in the male. She has built a little cave under a piece of bog wood with java fern on it and is very yellow and keeps swimming up to him and showing her belly. He seems interested for a minute then just looses interest. Is this normal? I have researched breeding these fish on the net but would like some advice of someone that has had experience with them or just knows about it.
Oh I dont know what the water levels are because I have no test kits and have never used them. Never had a problem. The temp is around 75F.
Thanks Josh
