help me with getting a pond

Ok i need help. I want to get a pond but i don't know much about ponds. So i need you to tell me what i need for a pond, i just need it to be simple and cheep. thanks  :)

Dig a hole at least 3 feet deep so there is enough water volume to keep temp of water from changing, too much- get a rubber liner and pump from Home & Garden store- Google " DIY 55 gal drum biological filter"
