To make it effetient put red clay scattered tru out the dirt. Then get something like flourite to cap ur dirt instead of plain gravel but u don't have to. Gravel will work

so basically dirt wit clay then flourite or dirt

then tat should provide enough nutrient for my plants then right?

thanks for the info

Yup all u need u won't have to really dose n e ferts for like a year or 2 web u use dirt

where can i get red clay??

Any arts supply store like michaels or some other arts and crafts type store. Um ask ur parents of they h e n e clay pots they don't want
God spell check makes me looks stupid lol ask ur folks of they have n e clay pots u can have n smash o add to ur tank :D

oh ok thanks have u try using it??

well i just cap my dirt w/ flourite which is basically clay

i got my dirt today so i try wash it but then theres like hella thing flowing??

wat do i do??

Easy scoop it out the dirt has lots of little pieces of wood that will float up just keep scooping it out I should have adviced u to sift the dirt to get all the wood chips out sorry but keep at it and after a couple fills an drains u won't have n e thing floating. Also the wood chips will not hurt your aquarium but it will be super hard o get rid of the tannis it leaches out If u do decide to leave the wood chips in
