Hoping I didn't make another bad lighting buy...
I posted on here last night about how my fixture finally died on me. I went out to my LFS today and bought a new fixture. It's a Solarmax HE 48" fixture. I have the same type of fixture running on my 38g and I've never really had any issues with it. However, I was hoping for a new fixture that would allow good lighting for plants that I hope to house in the future. I've read no bad reviews on the fixture, but I haven't really read anything good about the fixture in relation to it's effect on planted tanks. Does anyone have any experience with this fixture and planted tanks?
