idk i have well water so i dont have to dechlor my water. i just drain mine out the window and run thru water hose in the window to fill it up.

fill the whole tank up first ...then add dechlor

treat the whole tank volume..not the gallon of water put inside

The directions on the Sachem bottle state to add for the volume of the tank FIRST and then add the water.

 

Just had a glass of wine so maybe I'm confused.  ;-)

 

I turn my filter off so the water doesn't stir around.  Add Prime for the gallons of my tank into the far right corner and then put the fresh water in that corner adjusting the temperature to match my tank.

You add the prime first, for sure. Just make sure to treat the entire volume of the tank.

I add first to, for the whole tank volume ,and then I just top it back slowly .
