One of my Mollies gave birth recently. We have 9 babies. They are growing fast and are in an isolation chamber (except for the 9th one which lives with our bigger fish because he is very large already).

My mom doesn't want to buy another big tank like a 10 - 20 gal. But she said we could get a 5 gallon. I can put 2-3 more mollies in my 10 gal without overcrowding.

And I'm thinking of giving 2 to a friend of mine who loves fish and has some guppies.

The point of this is...how many mollies (1 - 2 inch) can fit into a 5 gal without overcrowding?
