i have a 37 gallon fish tank and need fish comb ideas.

i have a 37 gallon fish tank that ive had for two years and one of my gouramis' went rogue and killed all of my tiger barbs. that gourami is now gone. but im stump on what to add, cuz i want to try some thing new. i currently have 1 blood red parrot cichlid (female), 1 (calm male) blue gourami , and 1 common pleco (that i had for 3 years). im running a 205 fluval canister filter. i know the pleco will out grow that tank but i currently live in a apartment and dont have room for a bigger tank, but ill be moving soon to a house in a couple of months and will be hitting up CL for a 55+ gallon. I would like to add another blood red parrot (smaller male size), since my wife loves them, but it being a cichlid im worried about the aggression. Im open to ideas, thank you. There is an old pic attached to get an idea of what i have.

p.s there aren't many "GOOD PET STORE" around where i live so im limited to only petsmart and petco.

i would wait until you get that 55g and rethink about the fish...personally i like community tank better than large cichlid or fish

I did my research all day yesterday and today. I chose to get two firemouths. I chose them cuz of the info I found. And they would go great cuz they will be full size with in a year and the gourami's life span is 3-4 years. So by the time they are full grown he would probably be dead. I like community tanks too, I currently have a dirt 10 gallon with a few community fish in it.
