if u have males..they will breed all the time

Yup, I have one male and two female mollies, our pet store recommended to get two females and one male. So that's what we did.

 

Since both my females are dark colored (black and dalmatian), how can I tell if they are pregnant? Besides the swollen stomach.

Instead of using the net cage, just move the females directly to the 15+ gallon tank. If it has alot of cover for the fry to hide, the fry usually get left alone for a little while by the females if they're well fed. But be sure to remove the females after they're done dropping the fry.

What types of food do you feed the fry? I'm not quite sure if my females are pregnant either...time will tell! Haha.
