I am looking to upgrage from my 46 gallon bow front to a 155 gallon bow front. (46 gallon is 36 inch long and 155 gallon is 72) I am using a nova extrem 36 inch t5h0 light, could I buy one more and set them side by side for the bigger tank.

-Are two fixtures with 2 bulbs each anough?

-should I go with a new fixture 72 inch long 2 or 4 bulb?

-Could I set them in a row to use it like a 72 inch fixture

I'm pretty sure there are no 72" T5HO fixtures.  You'll have to go with 2 36"s lined up.  How many bulbs you will need in each fixture will depend entirely on what quality the fixtures and bulbs are, how deep the tank is and what type of plants you would like to grow.

Yeah, 2 36"s seems like the best option
