Hey what's up everybody,

I'm planning out my first ever dirt tank: a 29 gallon low/medium tech tank. I can use DIY CO2 if necessary, but definitely not going to get a pressurized system. Looking to grow moneywort, corkscrew/jungle vals, some crypts and Taiwan moss. Normally I'd just go with Justin's rule of low light and get a fluorescent strip and call it a day. The problem is that a 29 gallon is weirdly shaped, 18 inches tall. So now I find myself not sure of what kind of lights to get. Too little light and I'm worried about my plants not growing, too much and I'm going to get algae. The options I'm considering right now are:

Dual bulb T-8 (regular) fluorescent fixture (Two of these stacked next to each other: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3733+...)

Dual bulb T5 Normal Output (NO): (http://www.thatpetplace.com/aqualight-with-colormax-6700k-t5-fluore...)

Single bulb T5 High Output (HO): (With only one bulb: http://www.amazon.com/Extreme-Freshwater-Aquarium-Light-Fixture/dp/...)

Thoughts?

I think the more light the better. If you are concern about algae then you can always cut back on the light.
