Wats up fishtank friends.Just got a quick question. I have been searching the net for a light fixture for my 10 gallon soon to be planted dirt tank and wow there are so many freaking options! i saw a few but Im not sure if it would work. Im not going to be running co2 and i dont want a crazy algae party in my tank. Heres a couple that i was looking at. Let me know if this would be too muck light for a 10 gallon please! Thanks

The coralife is a 24" but i dont mind the fixture hanging off to the side a little bit.

And if anybody has the fixture from catalina, can they post it up because the site doesnt have a pic of it.

Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds good. I just bought a 6500k bulb but am not sure if that is enough. its a 20 watt bulb. It seems to be doing really good and have been seeing growth in the tank since its been setuo for a week now. I guess ill experiment with my tank with a 10,000k bulb and see what happens. Thanks for the quick response though!

the compact should be good...as the dual lighting in the other will give you alot of aglae later on..

look into this too:
