If your LFS is that bad then you should consider ordering online. I like LiveAquaria and That Pet Place. Low price and good service.

Both don't sell species by the gender.

NO websites will. Except for species where you must order a Pair.

Find a new LFS. It may be worth the drive.

I would recommend liveaqauria. Have got fresh, salt fish from them.
