How about baby tears? Dustin grows them with no co2 & not a lot of PAR. I just got some & plan to keep it short like a carpet although I'm running high tech.

Dwarf sag.
I don't have dirt so I would need high light and co2 for dwarf baby tears . and I said I wouldnn't want dwarf sag , not that I don't like it but I have jungle val and it would just look like I had shorter val at the front lol

lol dwarf sag was a joke.  Dwarf baby tears are a no way without co2 and high light, but regular baby tears Lindernia rotundifolia could be a possibility.

aw yeah miss read your first comment lol

Pogostemon? I bought some yesterday, its a really nice plant, and it doesn't need alot of light.
best bet which what im doing is a rotala rondifolia "green" its more of a course carpet but looks niceee. as it grows taller u can use weights to lay it down and it will grow sideways . that or water sprite maybe wisteria? the thinner stuff will again do a course carpet, check out my pics for what i mean. the rotala is a brite green then yellow/bronze tinge looks sweet

you have to have lots  of patience with microswords, they are so hard to plant and become uprooted so easy
