Ludwigia repens emersed help

I have some ludwigia on the side of my window
And i was wondering how to grow it half submerged
And half emersed if posible or if i could get any tips
On how to grow my ludwigia repens i would appreciate
Temp.80
Light from sun probrably 8 hours
Using gravel but no dirt at all.
