im confused at the question... short answer: Nope. Carbon can take out impurities and some smells and medications but there isn't anything you add to your tank as a magic "Fix Me" cure. Every tank is different. What might work for one may not work for another. Hope this helped.

        If that happen, Then we would already have the all cure all medication for humans. There are many medications, water conditioners, and of course water changes you can do. You just have to find the right stuff and directions that fits the bill.

UV sterilizer would help instead of medication if you can get a hold of it
